Web of Science Group (Thomson Reuters, Clarivate) - ESCI (Master Journal List)

Emerging Sources Citation Index is a new edition in Web of Science Core Collection. ESCI is a multidisciplinary Citation Index covering all areas of the scholarly literature of the sciences, social sciences and arts & humanities. The Core Collection Journal Selection Process now includes a set of fundamental criteria that govern the selection of Journals for ESCI. The selection process for ESCI is related to the process applied to SCIE, SSCI and AHCI. Journals accepted for coverage in ESCI must be peer reviewed, follow ethical publishing practices, meet our technical requirements, have English language bibliographic information, and be recommended or requested by a scholarly audience of Web of Science users.

ERIH PLUS

The European Reference Index for the Humanities and the Social Sciences (ERIH PLUS) was created and developed by European researchers under the coordination of the Standing Committee for the Humanities (SCH) of the European Science Foundation (ESF). The ERIH lists, which initially covered only humanities disciplines, were first published by ESF in 2008, while revised lists were made available in 2011-2012. In 2014, responsibility for the maintenance and operation of ERIH was transferred to the NSD - Norwegian Centre for Research Data. The reference index at NSD is called ERIH PLUS in order to indicate that it has been extended to include the social sciences.

EBSCO

EBSCO is the leading provider of research databases, e-journals, magazine subscriptions, e-books and discovery service to libraries of all kinds.

Scilit

Scilit is a comprehensive content aggregator platform for scholarly publications. It is developed and maintained by the open access publisher MDPI AG . It is offered for free to scientists, scholars and the interested general public. Using widely automated approaches to sourcing and curating data, we cover newly published content from a variety of data sources within hours or days. Scilit currently covers journal articles, book chapters, monographs and preprints. Scilit covers 157 million scholarly publications, including over 24 million open access articles and 3 million preprints. Scilit publishes Rankings and offers the possibility to run custom analytics empowering users to understand trends in academia.

Crossref

Academic and professional research travels further if it’s linked to the millions of other published papers. Crossref members register content to let the world know it exists, instead of creating thousands of bilateral agreements. They send information called metadata to Crossref. Metadata includes fields like dates, titles, authors, affiliations, funders, and online location. It also includes digital object identifiers (DOIs) that stay with the work even if it moves websites. Richer metadata makes content useful and easier to find. Through Crossref, members are distributing their metadata downstream, making it available to numerous systems and organizations that together help credit and cite the work, report impact of funding, track outcomes and activity, and more.

Index Copernicus

The ICI Journals Master List database includes journals that have undergone a multi-dimensional parametric evaluation process. The basic condition for indexation is that Editors adhere to the principle of transparency of activities and confirm the provision of reliable editorial services. Journals that meet the applicable indexation criteria receive the ICV (Index Copernicus Value) index, valid for 1 year, which reflects the level of the journal's development and its impact on the world of science.
